Rhetoric Assignment

I found this image on Stumble Upon, if you don't know what this website is please go to www.stumbleupon.com and sign up ASAP. I don't know if this counts as a form of rhetoric, but I thought it was interesting and would suffice. From the website, it does not say who the author of this painting on the wall is, to me it looks like some form of graffiti. I think the intended audience is everyone, this message that the artist is portraying is important. In this day and age the materialistic things that a person owns defines them. That is a very harsh statement, but if you see someone driving a brand new 2010 Range Rover, you can't not think that they are legit. They have money, they have status. This person may be a total freak, but because their daddy bought them an expensive car, they are deemed cool. I wish more people would live by the statement, "The best things in life aren't things." I also think that our world, community and college would be a better place if this statement was put into place. At the end of your life, whether you believe in Heaven or not, you cannot bring you iPad, iPhone or MacBook with you. Cherish and build relationships that will bring back great memories when you are living your last few days. Depressing thought, but although technology is advancing our relationships with people should not diminish.

Hi everyone,
I really really don't understand this blog nonsense. I want my page to look really cute with pictures and what not and I keep trying but every time I think it will look good, it looks retarded. So, I will keep working. Sorry that it is so plain for now. I have never used a blog before, so this will be interesting. I kind of feel like were back in 6th grade and on Myspace. Well anyways, I have a lot of homework. I will focus on this blog, which has taken up the last hour of my time, later. Goodnight people! See you tomorrow.
